ResiRat Kennels: Chesapeake Bay Retievers in Athens, Ohio.

Nestled in the rolling hills of the S.E. Ohio, on 42 acres of hardwoods clear cuts and a 3ac woodland mining reservoir, we feel we’ve found a great place to raise, train and hunt the finest breed of upland/waterfowl game dogs ever to come down the pike. With grouse, ducks, rabbits, quail, geese and the occasionally released pheasant, our kennel is sitting on a treasure trove of hunting formats., The Chesapeake Bay retrievers raised here will almost always have the scent of game near by.

We hope to raise some of the best all round hunting dogs found in the western Appalachian hills. We look forward to competing our dogs in local and national hunt tests.
